A little background information…
Our region might best be described as "textbook Holland" it is characterized by meadows with cows, farms, rivers, dykes, ditches, willows, storks and sleepy villages. UNESCO world heritage Kinderdijk (the famous windmills) is just around the corner as well as a number of picturesque small cities and villages.

Our place is next to the River Lek, protected by a dike of course. We have a truly spacious garden, orchard and a modest bit of woodland so enough room for some privacy if you want. Bicycles can be parked in the shed which can also be used for cooking on a woodstove or enjoying a drink.
The river is suited for swimming and the nearest 'beach' is a mere three minute walk. If you wish and you know how to master a Canadian canoe on a current you may use our canoe also.
You can order various beverages and food like cold beer, wine, freshly baked bread, espresso etc as the nearest supermarket is quite a walk. We also offer buckets of iced water for cooling down your own drinks (free) if you wish.
We're currently establishing a sleeping accommodation in the woodshed which will provide room for at least two adults. You may also spread your sleeping bag on the straw next to this glamporious addition for the most rustic sleeping experience ever.
