A little background information…
We are a British family living in a small village in rural southern Sweden. Whilst we are within public transport distance of Copenhagen and Malmö airports and the cities of Malmö and Lund we are much more conveniently placed for the Soderåsens National Park 5km away and other rural attractions.
The village has a shop and a couple of bakeries, one of which produces the 'European protected regional delicacy' of Spettkaka.
We are an open-minded, sociable family with two sons aged 7 and 4, a golden retriever, and two cats at the last count ... whilst our setting is peaceful our family life certainly is not!
At the moment toilets, shower facilities and hot water are available only in the house but there is a cold water supply to the outbuilding. As former Scout leaders we have a wide range of camping and catering equipment which can be borrowed by arrangement. We might also be able to arrange to take you canoeing on a local lake or accompany you on day trips to local attractions.
