A little background information…
We have a beautiful lawned and sheltered garden in Dartington, a short walk away from medieval Dartington Hall- which hosts Ways With Words literary festival, an International music summer school, Home Festival and has year round cinema, drama and music.
With just trees a stream and footpath behind our garden quiet but the path links you to our 13th century thatched pub serving excellent food ( 2 mins), village shop abnd famous Cider Press Craft Centre (also 2 mins). We are 5 mins away from a riverside cycle path to take you traffic free to the fabulous, vibrant and alternative town of Totnes .Its a medieval town with Norman castle, packed with interesting shops, a market and is the original Transition Town!
Our garden has lots of space to pitch 2-3 tents,an outside 'garden room' so plenty of dry undercover space for any stuff, plus a barbeque, fire pit, trampoline and friendly guinea pigs- so no dogs please!
Children are especially welcome.There are lots of toys and friendly children to play with.
We can offer the use of a toilet and shower indoors- and can provide a cereal/toast/eggs breakfast by arrangement. We'll put the kettle on whilst you put up your tent!
